60. ~たところで (ta tokoro de)
a. Meaning: たとえ~しても-> ( – ) の予想・判断、大した事ではない even if ~, it will not… (the speaker dismisses a supposition as pointless or contrary to expectation)

b. Connection: 動詞のタ形

Examples:
1, 本当のことを言ったところで、だれもしんじてくれないだろう。
Even if you tell the truth, nobody will believe it.

2, この病気は手術をしたところで回復は難しいと思われる。
Even with surgery, it is hard to recover from this illness.

3, [今から急いだところで間に合わないよ] Even if you hurry now, you will not make it.

4, すんでしまったことは、今さら後悔したところでどうにもならない。
It is done now; regretting it will not change anything.

5, 彼女は体力があるから、2、3日徹夜したところで平気だろう。
She has great stamina, so staying up for a few nights is no problem for her.

Note: the final clause of this pattern (the clause after ~ところ) is not used in the past tense.
