b. Connection: 名詞+の／動詞の辞書形

Examples:
1, あの先生は厳しく指導する一方で、学生の相談にもよくのってくれる。
That teacher is very strict, but he also often gives us students advice.

2, 高度経済成長は急速な発展の一方で、深刻な公害問題を引き起こした。
High economic growth brought rapid development, but on the other hand serious pollution problems.

Country A is pushing for disarmament while continuing nuclear tests.
