151. QW(+Particle)+V(PlainForm)か、わかりません①
QW(+Particle) + V(Plain Form)か、わかりません①
QWか、わかりません②
QW stands for Question Word. This is how a question is combined with expressions such as 「わかりません」 (I don't know),「おしえてください」 (please tell me),「ききました」 (I heard) or 「知っていますか」 (do you know?) to make a complex sentence.
Note that the verb takes the short form and the particle must come after the QW.
For instance:「何時に来るか」、「どこで会うか」、「何を食べるか」 and so on…
Some question words (QW): 「いつ」 (when),「どこ」 (where),「だれ (who),「なに」 (what),「いくら」 (how much) ,「どちら」 (which way, which one)…
You can say it very simply by adding か straight after the question word,
for example
いつか知っていますか(Do you know when it is?)
どこかわかりません (I don't know where it is.)
