a. Structure:
Noun / Vる + に + ともなって (伴って)／ともない (伴い)

b. Meaning: B happens at the same time as A

会社の倒産にともなって、多くの社員が失業した。
Kaisha no tōsan ni tomonatte, ōku no shain ga shitsugyō shita.
The company went bankrupt and many employees lost their jobs.

公共料金の値上げにともない、物価が上昇した。
