A LIST OF THE KANJI IN MINNA NO NIHONGO I AND II, SORTED BY HOW OFTEN THEY APPEAR

All the vocabulary in Minna no Nihongo book 1 is built from 548 kanji, and the vocabulary in book 2 from 603 kanji; but taking the 50 lessons of both books together, those 1500 basic words are built from 821 kanji. So by learning just that many kanji you can remember the vocabulary of book 1, book 2 or both far more quickly.
