a. Meaning: だけでなく、その上に (not only ~ but also ~)

b. Structure: N / [V/A] noun-modifying form + ばかりでなく

Kanojo wa eigo bakaridenaku, furansugo ya doitsugo mo hanaseru.
She can speak not only English but also German and French.

この本はただ面白いばかりでなく、仕事にも役立つ。
Kono Moto wa tada omoshiroi bakaridenaku, shigoto ni mo yakudatsu.
This book is not only interesting but also useful for work.
